Thomas J. Pappas School Biltmore Fashion Park is proud to support The Thomas J. Pappas Elementary School through child-mentoring and volunteering. Today, the school is the most successful national model in addressing the specific and unique needs of homeless children. Currently, Maricopa County serves over 1100 homeless children per day and approximately 3000 students per school year. The Pappas Schools provides equitable education but also recognizes that helping a homeless child requires more than just a classroom. Transportation is provided; all students are given a nutritionally balanced breakfast and lunch, children receive clothing and hygiene kits and are supplied with Social Services and Medical Care.
